This will be the last time in 2019 that the Classic Gear Jammers will be on the Mountian, at the one and only Wilkesboro Dragway. Come witness for yourself 50+ of the best Stick Shift racers in the southeast doing battle. Staging lanes completely full of stick cars from the 1960’s and early 70’s era. 9000 rpm clutch drops, wheels up and banging through the gears. Walk the pits and look at your favorite cars and meet the drivers. Come witness what everyone is talking about and see the excitment of the Classic Gear Jammers.

These craft pumpkins are black to begin, then we will “doodle” using a white paint pen. Kelly will demonstrate different styles of doodling and offer up samples and suggestions for you to choose from to do your own Zen (tangled) Pumpkin. If you’re a doodler, join us, guaranteed to be fun! All materials provided. All Levels Age 14+.

September 28th we return for the 4th annual Prohibition Hot Rod and Moonshine Festival in beautiful and historic Downtown North WIlkesboro The Moonshine Capital of the World!!

Hot Rods, Rat Rods and Trucks 1979 (40 years) or older and like body styles.

Moonshine Samplings with some of North Carolina’s Premier Distilleries.

3rd annual Spirits and Cocktail Contest.

Amateur Pinup Contest with cash prizes 1st $300 2nd $200 and 3rd $100.

Hand Made Trophies by some of the finest builders in the south east.

The Brushy Mountain Ruritan Club invites all of you to come join them, Saturday, October 5, as they bring the 42nd Annual Brushy Mountain Apple Festival once again to downtown North Wilkesboro, NC from 8 AM – 5 PM. This is a one day, free admission Arts and Crafts Festival featuring over 325 crafters, 75 food vendors, Appalachian exhibitors, 4 stages of music and dancing, activities for the young and young at heart and much more.
